4×4 to Castelhanos Beach

Tour Description: We will board on a 4×4 vehicle to Castelhanos Beach! Located at the east side of Ilhabela, with access only by 4×4 vehicles, crossing 22 km of trail within the Atlantic Rainforest of Ilhabela State Park on a road where you will be able to observe waterfalls, tropical fauna and flora. The beach has an extension of approximately 1,500 meters, where there is a lagoon of crystalline waters. About 50 families of fishermen inhabit the place, beach of waves, good for practice of surf and diving. To enjoy delicious caiçara food, Castelhanos Beach has some restaurant options (may not accept credit cards are accepted at the beach, cash is required).

Embark place: The 4×4 driver will pick up the guests at the hotel
Departure time: Departure at 10:00AM and return at 5:00PM

OBS: Price per person, subject to availability and confirmation. Children under 9 years pay 50%. We recommend that you bring bathing suit, towels, mosquito repellent, sunscreen and a plastic bag for mobile phones and cameras. This tour is not allowed for pregnant women and children under 1 year old. There is no cell phone signal on the beach. The length of the tour and the stop times are approximate.

Gato (Cat) Waterfall: There is an access to Gato (Cat) Waterfall (one of the most beautiful falls in Ilhabela), with a long walk – 40 minutes trail, where a waterfall 80 meters high is unveiled in the middle of the forest. The Cat Waterfall trail (in Castelhanos Beach) is optional . There is no guide for this trail, and if you choose to visit the waterfall, there may be no beach time left. The driver will depart from Castelhanos at the scheduled time with the other passengers, so the trail and the return are at the risk of those who choose to do it.
